She then proceeds to not tell him that the baby is his (because responsibility to your child’s welfare is obviously not a thing). She then meets her new boss who doesn’t recognize her because he had unprotected sex with her as a one night stand while she was wearing a mask working at a masquerade party because…hey, that isn’t irresponsible. At all.) Completely inappropriate sexual commentary ensues that is supposed to be funny but just sounds stupid and cringy. The laughing 40-something obstetrician agrees. The book starts with a trip to the obstetrician where the nurse does un-nurselike duties like perform an ultrasound and tell her she needs to get laid. But Mandy, of course, doesn’t mind taking advantage of her-I guess cause she’s evil? The brother in law is so over the top “bad guy” as to be a joke. Both sisters then talk about how evil she is. The mother is this crazy villain who blows cigarette smoke at her daughter and calls her a whore.
